The short version: your guest list never leaves your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. SortaSeat has no accounts, no sign-up, and no server-side storage. Guest names, table assignments, and poster text are processed entirely on your device by the page you loaded.

What your browser stores

If you keep editing across visits, your most recent chart is saved in your own browser’s local storage — on your device only. Use “Clear saved data” in the editor to delete it at any time. Share links encode your chart in the URL itself; whoever you send the link to can decode it, so share links are the one place your data travels — only to people you choose.

What is transmitted

Everything on this page — including both fonts — is served from this site’s own host; no guest data is ever sent in any network request. There are no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
