About SortaSeat

SortaSeat makes one thing well: a seating chart poster, sorted by last name, ready to print.

Why it exists

Wedding seating tools ask for signups, upload guest lists to servers, or export pixelated images. SortaSeat does none of that. Paste your list, watch the alphabetical sort handle “Dr.”, hyphenated names, and “Mr. and Mrs.” entries correctly, assign tables, and print at 18×24 or 24×36 with proper bleed marks.

How it works

Everything runs locally in your browser — sorting, table assignment, poster rendering, and printing. There is no server-side anything: close the tab and nothing of yours remains, except the copy in your own browser’s local storage if you choose to keep editing later.
